The Catholic Communities comprises of three churches: Sacred Heart, Wanatah, St. Martin of Tours, LaCrosse, and St. Mary, Otis.

In 2005, a significant chapter in our history began when Father Joseph Pusateri, the last resident pastor of St. Mary, retired. Under the guidance of Father Gerald Schweitzer, then pastor of Sacred Heart, St. Martin, and St. Mary, our parishes united as the Catholic Communities. Today, this union thrives, with the three churches working hand in hand across various ministries. Led by our dedicated Administrator, Father Paul Quanz, we continue our mission to bring Christ’s light to our members and extend His love to the broader community and beyond.
